Freedive.co.za was created by the founder to promote freediving and related activities to novices and moderately experienced freedivers. It offers training in the form of lectured courses, online courses and mentorships in both freediving and spearfishing. Advanced freedivers may not learn a great deal from this site, however since the site is based on many years of personal experience of South African diving there may be quite a lot to learn about the local sea-life, conditions etc.
I include the site objectives on this page so that you may decide if you should "extend your breath" and dive deeper into this site and continue exploring the site or make a rapid ascent and move elsewhere on the net:
Inform you about freediving and related activities such as spearfishing, underwater photography, exploration etc.
Increase your knowledge, skills, ability and motivation to freedive
To accelerate development of freediving skills of novices and moderately experienced freedivers
Display "things to see underwater" in the Port Elizabeth area (South Africa)
Promote my divebook: "Pinnacles and Wall Divesites of Port Elizabeth - Memoirs of a Freediver"
Offer mentorship programs in freediving and spearfishing
Transfer my 17 years of experience gained on over on over 1400 dives to others
Entertain you and make you at least a little curious about diving, perhaps even in the Port Elizabeth area
Expand my own ability in electronic information transfer.
So why not take a deep breath and put your head under the water and let's do a little looking around.
